An Aneros works well and does a very nice job of stroking exactly the right spot, but it does not vibe. If you want a vibe, start with a longer curved one which will allow you to press right in the spot opposite the middle of your balls where the thickness begins – which is the other side of the prostate. For the kind of stimulation you seek, I second Expei’s endorsement of the Aneros which is specifically designed for such play. Other toys lack the curves and contours so it’s less about length, more about shape. I use a ordinary small-size vibe to stimulate Hardin’s asshole, and he enjoys it (it’s the blue one, which is reserved for this purpose). The one you’re trying seems a little too short and abrupt. But keep experimenting and let us know if you find something that works!

You sound as if you have been missing the sweet spot. You need to insert the vibe and then point the tip downwards.
If you are trying to locate this with your finger, use the middle finger and push up to the hilt and then bring the tip down. You will feel what appears to be a spongy contoured pad under your fingertip. That is your prostate gland. It will be very obvious when you hit the right place, you will feel an overwhelming pleasure.
